En una entrevista que le realicé a este autor el 3 de marzo de 2017, él manifestó que los cuentos de este libro los escribió en una primera versión cuando estaba en el colegio, hace aproximadamente treinta años y habían permanecido inalterados hasta que se propuso publicarlos con el fin de preservar un patrimonio, colocarlos en una dimensión educativa y con ello plasmar su trabajo como escritor.
