Finally it will be argued that the aggressive reaction of Galileo and his theory of comets were actually a bad attempt to defend copernicanism at time where he was forbidden to speak about it.En este trabajo primero se expone la teoría de los cometas de Galileo y la de Grassi junto con algunos de los argumentos que utilizan al debatir sus teorías en el contexto de la discusión sobre los modelos ticónico, copernicano y ptolemaico.
