Descripción
Sumario:This article is the third of a three-part publication which contrasts the differences in praxis of literary criticism reviewed essentially in two books by Jorge Luis Borges: Inquisiciones (1925) and Otras Inquisiones (1965). This article seeks to infer the theoretical foundations acknowledged in the previous analyses. It examines the specific relationship between Borges and the Argentinean “criollismo”, its validation criteria, the notions of language and reality which can be deduced from the book Inquisiciones. Finally, the article proposes a censorship of the text which a more mature Borges promoted in Otras Inquisiciones.
