Descripción
Sumario:This article reviews and compares a number of conceptual perspectives on the process of globalization, both those that understand it as a long historical process and those that conceive of it as a process of the last two or three decades. In the last part, the author sums up the debate about the historical novelty of globalization and contrast it to a theory of imperialism for which, no matter the novelties of capitalist development of the last decades, it still is imperialism.
