| Sumario: | The objective of this research paper is to evaluate the impact of credit on the profit of microenterprises in Costa Rica. ENHOPRO 2015 data is used together with the Propensity Score Matching methodology. Results show that credit has a positive and statistically significant impact on the profit of microenterprises in Costa Rican homes. Consequently, financing obtained by microenterprises contributes to increase their profit. |
