In the framework of the research "Relating Pedagogy, Curriculum and Didactics: the case of the UCR majors reaccredited by the SINAES", the self-evaluation model proposed by each agency that has accredited majors at the University of Costa Rica is analyzed, they are the National System of Accreditation of Higher Education (SINAES), the Canadian Agency for Accreditation of Engineering and the Central American Agency for Accreditation of Engineering, Architecture and Design. In the three self-assessment models, the vision of quality prevails as the fulfillment of criteria demonstrated by various evidences.Los procesos de autoevaluación con miras a acreditación se refieren a la acreditación de propuestas curriculares, es decir las carreras universitarias. En el marco de la investigación “Relacionando Pedagogía, Currículo y Didáctica: el caso de las carreras de la UCR reacreditadas ante el SINAES”, se analiza el modelo de autoevaluación propuesto por cada agencia que ha acreditado carreras en la Universidad de Costa Rica, a saber: el Sistema Nacional de Acreditación de la Educación Superior (SINAES), la Agencia Canadiense de Acreditación de Ingeniería y la Agencia Centroamericana de Acreditación de Ingeniería, Arquitectura y Diseño.
