In addition, the contribution of the UNA in the first economic valuation of unpaid work is highlighted, and some of the gender gaps in the use and distribution of time are presented, with emphasis on unpaid domestic work, based on the 2017 National Time Use Survey. Some of the results are presented by the area of residence, in addition to indicating whether the work was performed on weekdays or weekends.El siguiente artículo tiene como objetivo evidenciar los aportes que la Universidad Nacional ha realizado en la visibilización del trabajo no remunerado, que incluye el doméstico, el voluntario y la producción para el autoconsumo, medido a través de las encuestas de uso del tiempo. Se presentan los principales aportes desde lo conceptual y lo metodológico que hicieron posible las mediciones del 2004, 2011 y 2017. Además, se destaca el aporte de la UNA en la primera valoración económica del trabajo no remunerado y se presentan algunas de las brechas de género en el uso y la distribución del tiempo, haciendo énfasis en el trabajo doméstico no remunerado, a partir de la Encuesta Nacional de Uso del Tiempo 2017.
