(Texto tomado de la fuente)Acute exposure of resident and altitude-trained cyclists to higher temperature and barometric pressure decreases blood markers due to expansion of plasma volume (PV). The response of blood markers such as haemoglobin concentration, hematocrit, plasma volume and stimulation index (Off-score) was monitored in 10 male road cyclists residing and training at moderate altitude (2500 m, 456 mmHg, 22°C) during a 7-day training camp at lower altitude (456 m, 566 mmHg, 26°C). Hemoglobin concentration decreased to 1. 4 g/dl, hematocrit to 3. 3%, plasma volume increased to 644 ml and the Off-score marker varied to 17. 1 points. The monitoring of the variation of these blood markers measured in the athlete's biological passport (PBA) against variations in environmental conditions, established ranges of variation of the Off-Score, which allows to improve the control of prohibited substances in sport.MaestríaMagister en FisiologíaFisiología del ejercicioUniversidad Nacional de ColombiaBogotá - Medicina - Maestría en FisiologíaFacultad de MedicinaBogotá, ColombiaUniversidad Nacional de Colombia - Sede BogotáCristancho Mejía, EdgarMancera Soto, EricaGrupo de Investigacion en Adaptaciones Al Ejercicio y A la Hipoxia2023-08-28T14:53:09Z2023-08-28T14:53:09Z2023Trabajo de grado - Maestríainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_bdcchttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aaTexthttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/TM39 páginasapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttps://repositorio.unal.edu.co/handle/unal/84603Universidad Nacional de ColombiaRepositorio Institucional Universidad Nacional de Colombiahttps://repositorio.unal.edu.co/Ashenden, M., Gough, C.
