| Resumo: | This article proposes elements for understanding the Colombian Caribbean region, considering different categories, as the continuous inattention; the distorted Orality and the schematized folklorization of the everyday. This way, through an own methodology, making a documentary research about some authors, in which we support our reflections, and taking a look at the process of nation building, it’s argued that phenomena such as fear, the silences, the oralities of resistance, the uprooting, the informality, among others, are topics looking for explanation; and it’s from these explanations that the region makes sense, because if we still thinking the Caribbean region like the folklorists of the past century, or like the politicians want and think the region, there won’t be option to change. In this way, we consider that concepts such as Latin America, Colombia, Caribbean, are still under construction. |
