Sumario:Breaking paradigms in the face of methodological processes is a challenge for teachers, who in our daily work face the demands of innovation to motivate our students and therefore transform our classroom practices into learning scenarios. Here is a pedagogical experience that shows how it can be possible to involve the context to turn it into the driving force of the school environment; this proposal was developed in a rural location in the municipality of Cucunubá, department of Cundinamarca, some 88 kilometers from the capital Bogotá. Work that arises from the need to promote coherent pedagogical practices and improve test results Knowing, therefore was raised as an objective, strengthen the understanding of statements from a work focused on the analysis and understanding of tables and graphs, taking as work reference the economic activities of the path, process that was carried out with a group of five fifth grade students during the months of August to November of the year 2017.
