Descripción
Sumario:Reservoirs of Eastern Antioquia, Magdalena River Basin (Colombia) represent a decisive role in the departmental and country hydropower development. In addition to energy production, are important areas for local people dedicated to artisanal fishing, as well as an attraction for sport fishing in the region. According to the literature and field data, 15 species of commercial interest were recorded for three reservoirs in this area (San Lorenzo, Playas and Punchiná). The results of this study come from the data generated for one year (December 2012 - November 2013) fisheries monitoring, which is done in the process of formulation and implementation of the Fisheries Management underway in these reservoirs, and funded by Isagen S. A. E.S.P., EPM S. A. E.S.P. and executed by ADOA.
