Resumo:This paper describes the design and implementation of a computer-based ultrasound NDT hardwoods, useful for adequate inspection of architectural elements built in this material or for laboratory testing of samples that provide fault detection within thereof and to provide help to prevent potential structural failure or loss of material not suitable for internal conditions. Shows also the construction process of each of the component steps as excitation and amplification among others. Tests were conducted with hardwoods such as cedar and Abarco, which were obtained with different voltage amplitude peaks corresponding to different faults within these woods.
