| Sumario: | The investigation was focused on the implementation and analysis of a procedure to extract three-dimensional reconstruction of an object contour, which has axial symmetry, using the laser triangulation method with multiple observation systems. The implemented system is based on the arrangement of four cameras located around the symmetrical axis. A laser plane was generated by four polygon mirrors rotating at high speed; the device can recover 3D information of the complete contour or section of an object around the symmetrical axis. Acquisition and data processing is done through MATLAB® software. |
