| Sumario: | The objective of this thesis focuses on phenomenon of urban expansion towards the south of the city of Bogotá, Colombia and seeks to understand the spatial configurations that appear on the Urban-Rural Borders at city Usme, from the perspective of the actors that stimulate space and its multiple territorialities. The methodology used was based on methodological pluralism, combining techniques such as participatory cartography, territorial routes, mapping of actors, semi-structured interviews and photointerpretation of aerial images, which have allowed the construction of knowledge from and in the territory. Its implementation required a deep immersion in the territorial dynamics of the different actors and their multi-territorialities that seek control of the same space. In this sense, the borders in Usme are discovered as humanized spaces endowed with different meanings, with multiple forms of control, of a discontinuous nature, without defined limits and constantly changing due to the adhesion of the urban-rural dynamics. |
