Description
Summary:This article attempts to analyze the decision making process in Barranquilla enterprises are developed, from a purely descriptive point of view. Initially, it defines the decision making process, and the same time presents a brief explanation of each one of the models used in the organizations, and making a brief instruction to simulation and modeling concepts in this area. Later, the article shows the results obtained in surveys applied to a sample of 77 enterprises from the city, in which a high tendency to use the decision maker's intuition and experience as tools to solve problems is perceived. In the obtained answers, it is also evident the need of simulation models that contribute or provide information which enable enterprises to have more accuracy at the time of acting before a problematic situation.
