Descripción
Sumario:Drilling optimization is focused on time operational cost reduction. This can be accomplished from the evaluation of drilling parameters used during offset wells drilling and the development of continuous improvement programs and performance effcient processes during drilling.   This paper presents a simple and practical methodology that evaluates the ratio of the energy supplied during the drilling of a well with geo-mechanical properties to determine the optimal parameters that increase the effciency of the drilling system and therefore increase penetration rate. The analysis of the parameters used in drilling wells estimates the mechanical effciency of the system and defnes the most critical areas for implementing the optimization actions in future of wells in the zone studied, with the aid of the information registered during the operation.
