Sumario:This work was based on the analysis of proposals for evaluation purposes of promotion and salary relocation of the national teachers, based on the 2002 Decree 1278. Analysis left the dispute that arose between teachers belonging to this Decree, those who have participated in both calls, and from the experience have taken posture some in favor and others against each form of assessment. In response to this, was documentary research that allowed us to identify the differences between these two models of evaluation from its features, theoretical foundations and interpretation of the national reports of the results teachers have been in both processes, in order to prove with statistical data and real arguments which is the model that benefits the Magisterium Decree 1278 of 2002. Finally, strategies to promote acceptance of the evaluative model that responds better to the interests of the teachers were raised.
