Sumario:We propose a different way of representing the information of asample realization. In this new approach, a sample realization is representedby a common mathematic object that allows to identify the manner in whichthe all sample information is being used in the construction of linear estimators.We show the relationship between the major classes of linear estimatorsproposed in the literature: Neyman, Horvitz and Thompson, Godambe, andStanek, Singer and Lencina.
