| Sumario: | Assigning the category of illegality to a territory has an impact on the deepening of inequality in the production of urban spaces. This research analyzes the consequences of the legal category of illegality in the production of the urban space of the Las Ceibas river in Neiva - Huila, through the comparison of an illegal settlement (Bajo Tenerife) and a legalized neighborhood (José Eustasio Rivera). The study was carried out with a qualitative approach, adopting the case study as a methodological strategy. The research will contribute to the debate on how to conceive and intervene in urban spaces, through inclusive public policies that overcome the dichotomy of urban legality and illegality to motivate State action. |
