Resumo:This study provides an analysis on how a group of EFL beginner students improved their pronunciation taking into account a intelligibly based approach by means of a didactic sequence on the minimal pairs. The results were analyzed with a pre and post test. The purpose of the analysis was to enhanced intelligibility awareness on oral speech instead of native like pronunciation. More over this report prepared students to notice English as a Lingua Franca over the Native Standard model. The results indicated that students improved pronunciation over the target sounds, anyhow more rehearse was necessary to lunge accurate pronunciation and to prime intelligible speech.
