| Summary: | At the present time a global tendency is the implementation of information technologies (I.T) like improvement agents of the enterprise activities, in the search of a greater productivity and competitiveness. By the previous thing, it has been considered excellent to identify the importance of this tendency in the companies of the region, in individual, of the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga, and the possible factors that promote or prevent their development. In answer to this restlessness and due to the nonexistence of studies of this type in the region, an investigation sustained in a work of field made in a sample of pymes of the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga was developed, of the sector of the producing companies of foods and drinks, to determine the state of the information technology, the level of integration of its supply chain and to identify possible strategies of technology of information (T.I) applicable to the supply chain. They are had like referring normative theoreticians and on the subject, the Public Policy of Internal Commerce of Colombia and the Study of Connectivity of Dane-Agenda de Conectividad (2001). |
