The innovation presents an important source of viable solutions for the Navy through this shipyard, but there is not enough study to allow academics to determine the dynamics that trigger the technological innovation in this company. In light of the recent emphasis on a scarcity of resources granted to the Navy and the lack of analysis on the role of the innovation of this industrial plant in the search for solutions, this thesis aims to explore the dynamics of success and failure in innovation, in relation to the saving of time and resources in maintenance projects, allowing a greater operational availability of the fleet with lower fiscal resources.
