The current study results from an exploratory design with a descriptive scope wich, through lifestories and participative observation, it pretends to stand out 10 voices of subjects who identified themselves as transformistas, travestis or drag queens (trans/trave/drag) and to describe their sociability experiencies in the historical frame of the half decade of 2010 in Santiago, Chile. This work is structured in 3 descriptive axis, on one side “What do we talk about when we talk about trans/trave/drag in Santiago? : characterization of the scene from the participants’s meaning”, it constitutes a description and also a discussion of elements that define the trans/trave/drag scene. In other hand, chapter “Trans/trave/drag visuality and esthetic: cuica, white and skinny dissidence” questions trans/trave/drag aesthetic modulations in Santiago. Finally in “Trans/trave/drag sociability: spaces and relationships”, four central dimensions that structure the trans/trave/drag sociabily are described: a) time frame, b) spaces, c) subjects, d) relationships. |
