Detectión and characterizatión of transiting extrasolar planets: expanding the parameter space
After twenty years of numerous and interesting discoveries in the field of extrasolar planets, the study of these systems is turning from the mere detection of new objects towards their detailed characerisation, with the goal of testing theories of formation, structure and evolution of exoplanets.
