Descripción
Sumario:Through the data obtained from the analysis of a literary mass contest organised in Santiago de Chile since e 2001, the present work aims to understand in a better way the diverstity of protagonists, scales and issues involved in the production of the city representations. The goalis to show the different forms the city presents it self through the short stories in competition aswell as by the request, selection and display processes configurated by the con test organizers. This analysis allows us to identify some specific representations of the city produced by the contest, along with the existence of sorne types of actors that are regarded as the most suitable to participate in this representation process, despite the lack of an organizers' intention on that matter.
