Descrição
Resumo:The Thesis Memorias del olvido: Representaciones políticas en el teatro contemporáneo brasileño y chileno is based on the study of some plays written by the Brazilian playwright Mário Bortolotto and the Chilean playwright Luis Barrales, and also seeks to explore certain creative processes and delineate their path and, on the other hand, to reveal social and aesthetic gestures that would demarcate the current drama in Brazil and Chile. Contemporary dramaturgy in both countries will be called in this research as new writing and will be featured to identify subjectivity from the biography of its characters. This subjectivity, in which each individual standing in, has generated a broken path. Therefore, it is assumed the loss of the social bond, the marginalization of individuals, a strong tendency towards individualism and the need to defend and delimit the private space, make the theatre of the last three decades the main references for the new Chilean and Brazilian drama.
