Descripción
Sumario:This thesis addresses the installation and consolidation of neoliberalism, as a project of society, in Chile. From a structural and sociogenetic perspective, the thesis argues that neoliberalism could be observed as one societal project which is composed by two moments: acumulation by dispossesion and certain forms of government (a neoliberal governmentality). This moments are articulated by one logic or rationality, known as "logic of illimitated accumulation" or simply as "logic of illimitation". Chile is a good case to observe the above, and because of that the thesis seeks to describe (from a sociohistorical perspective) the process by which the the neoliberalism is implanted in the country and then how it unfolds its main characteristics, consolidating itself.
