Sumario:Analyzing the relationship between subjective well-being and professional doctors’ career was the starting point of this study. Thus, this research was qualitative with a descriptive character. Life history technique was used as an instrument while carrying out in-depth interviews. Accordingly, four doctors who have been graduated for more than 10 years and have worked in a city in the west of Santa Catarina were interviewed. Data analysis was carried out through life history observation and the Content Analysis resource. Subjective well-being characterization for the interviewees is extremely linked to the moment of the career experienced by them. They have considered being satisfied with their lives.
