Sumario:In the present article, we shall confine ourselves to presenting the legally binding instruments that contain specific provisions relating to the private sector, including TNCs. These are norms adopted by States in the field of the environment, corruption, organized crime, labor and human rights. As there are many conventions in these fields (adopted at the international and regional level), we will present here a sample chosen from among the most important ones that create direct obligations for the private sector and, therefore, TNCs.
