Descrição
Resumo:This paper aims to demonstrate Husserl's project of building a rigorous science. First, it will be shown how the concept can be used as a resource to the psychologist attempt to ground the theory of knowledge. To this end, it is essential to distinguish between ideal laws and phatic laws, that is, between the real and the ideal plan. Finally, we aim to demonstrate that although the term "rigor" appears to the public mainly in his article Philosophie als strenge Wissenschaft (1911), it is possible to note that this claim accompanies, in general, his work. Even among the three great phases of his thought, i) Halle (1887-1900); ii) Göttingen (1901-1916) and iii) Freiburg (1916-1938), one can see that the concept of "rigour" in Husserl's thought concerns the project of constructing an a priori doctrine that escapes any kind of relativism and that constitutes the basis for the legitimacy of knowledge, also applying to other sciences.
