Sumario:The present article aims to problematize the experiences and readings developed during the course of the elective discipline Teacher Education and Teaching Work, revisiting some cartoons as a way to illustrate the memories woven during the appreciation of the texts and the debates provided by the discipline. Therefore, based on this cut, it is noticeable that the course has fostered the perception of the relations between theory and practice, teaching and research in teacher education, based on authors such as Freire (1996); Nóvoa (2017) and Josso (2007). The results point to a significant change in the relations between knowledge-teaching-interaction that result in greater autonomy in the constitution of teacherhood and in the valorization of teaching knowledge for the recognition of the identity of being a teacher.
