Descrição
Resumo:This article, supported especially by Tiphaine Samoyault's (2008) ideas on intertextuality, aims to carry out a comparative reading between chapter VII, entitled “O delírio”, from the novel Memórias póstumas de Brás Cubas ([1881] 2015), by Machado de Assis; the short story “O Aleph” ([1949] 2001), by Jorge Luis Borges; and the short story “A esfera fenícia”, published in the anthology Os contos completos (2016), by Alberto Mussa. Based on these texts, we seek to evidence the existence of a literary memory that permeates not only literary texts, but also the writers who, in this study, are considered the driving force of this memory.
