| Sumario: | This article analyzes the territorial expansion of agribusiness in Uruguay in the last decades based on two thesis: the first is that the expansion of agribussiness has subordinated peasants territories and local capitalists territories producing three fields on the current agrarian question: the agribusiness territory, the local capitalists territory monopolized or articulated by the agribusiness territory, and the peasants territory monopolized by the agribusiness territori; the second thesis states that these three fields are result of the expansion of global capital and the public policies of the Uruguayan state based on the family farming variant of the agrarian capitalism paradigm. |
