Sumario:A key measure for canine rabies control adopted in Brazil is the vaccination of dogs and cats held annually. Vaccination is one of the main actions of rabies management in urban areas, which is responsible for the decrease in the number of cases of canine rabies and feline rabies and, therefore, human rabies. This study aims to report the rabies vaccination campaign of dogs and cats carried out by students at the University Camilo Castelo Branco (UNICASTELO) in August and September 2011, in the municipality of Descalvado-SP.
