Descripción
Sumario:Transfer of knowledge generated in academia to society plays a key role in the social and economic development of a nation. Public universities must have effective mechanisms to make technology available to the market by breaking the bottleneck of the technology shelf. There are undoubtedly challenges for both the transmitter and the receiver. This paper aimed to analyze the technology transfer process adopted by two Brazilian universities (Unicamp and UnB). We used the qualitative study method of descriptive nature based on documental and bibliographic research. The results suggest that the approximation between industry and the university is fundamental to expand the indicators of Technology Transfer in universities. It is still perceived that continuous investments in the personnel sector that work with innovation, adoption of objective flowcharts and management of innovation contribute positively to achieve good results in Technology Transfer.
