Descripción
Sumario:The article problematizes who educates the educator in the capitalist context. Through exploratory research, the connections between the Lemann Foundation and eight North American universities in the provision of continuing teacher training, stricto sensu postgraduate level, are analyzed. It points out that the partnerships between the foundation and the universities aim to form a technical-political body aligned with the guidelines of capital, propagating business ideas in education. This foundation constitutes what is called the Private Apparatus of Business Hegemony in the educational field since the 2000s, supported by the federal governments since then.
