Through a consistent journalistic coverage is required to disclose and problematize actions in favor of HIV-positive people in the most profound way possible, in order to demystify stigmas and stimulate the prevention of this disease with more effectiveness and ampleness.Este texto tem como objetivo discutir a cobertura jornalística no que diz respeito às narrativas sobre aqueles que vivem com aids, evidenciando a necessidade de se realizar atividades com uma linguagem mais cidadã e aprofundada sobre o tema. O que se põe em causa aqui é a busca por um suporte comunicacional que possa expor as necessidades dos soropositivos e ampliar a discussão acerca dos conflitos existentes entre eles, o poder público e a sociedade.
