Descripción
Sumario:In this article, the objective is to discuss analytically the problems that involve the elaboration of a language centered on the multiplicity, hierarchy and asymmetry of gender discourse in Diego de Valera. The purpose is to scan the themes, the performances of the characters and the political-cultural perspectives present in the Tratado en defensa de virtuosas mujeres. The historicity indexes of the signification processes were prioritized with the intention of not interpreting the work in question in a monistic, static and descriptive way. Thus, we wanted to inquire about the discursive experiences based on gender guidelines, the vertebral aspects of the work and its “deviant” dimensions, that is, the multiple and complex historical-literary arrangements.
