| Sumario: | Sources specialized in indigenous information can be produced by indigenous people, or about them, in traditional and/or digital media. In the Infor-mation Science literature, there is a lack of this topic. Thus, the following question arose: How can a diverse set of sources of information specialized in indigenous information be presented to serve as a guide for students and researchers? Seek-ing to address this issue, research was carried out to propose a set of specialized sources in indigenous information to serve as a guide for students and researchers. Regarding methodological procedures, the research is exploratory and descriptive, having a quantitative-qualitative approach and bibliographic in nature. Data col-lection took place in the Reference Database of Periodical Articles in Information Science and on the homepage of the Library of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology, and the time frame of the research covered from 1972 to 2023. The results of the research identified a total of 22 sources of information specialized in indigenous information, which were described and distributed into four categories based on the analysis of the content covered in these sources. It is concluded that the study of indigenous information sources contributes to the way of communicating the knowledge and productions of and about indigenous peoples, increasing their visibility and mitigating the barriers of exclusion and for-getfulness of these social groups. |
