Description
Summary:The state of Paraíba presents significant contributions, both creative and handcrafted, distributed throughout its territory. Among the artisan typologies proposed by the Paraíba’s Craft Program (PAP), few are the representations that do not feature at least one artisan dedicating all or part of their production to the development of jewelry. For this article, a literature review was conducted with authors researched during the development of a dissertation, as well as information collected from the official PAP website. Using the research's scope, the presence of brands or producers on social networks, their own websites, or institutional websites was also considered, allowing for a preliminary analysis based on publicly available data. Based on the collected data, five initiatives stood out in an initial observation of possible characteristics in sustainable production. These underwent a preliminary analysis at the environmental, social, and economic levels, based on the parameters defined in the literature, confirming the presence of sustainable actions at the aforementioned three levels.
