Descripción
Sumario:The article aims to reflect on Carajás’ lithic technology as a way of dwelling the landscape, according to Ingold’s perspective. Thereby, by dwelling the landscapes, people perform different tasks that leave traces in the inhabited spaces, and, consequently, these realized activities contribute to the formation of the landscapes in which these people were. Based on this theoretical basis, a brief bibliographic review will be carried out on the research on lithic industries executed in the Carajás region, and after will be presented the case study of the lithic industry of the Serra Leste 1 site, located in Serra Leste de Carajás, in order to characterize the existing lithic taskscape in that site.
