Sumario:Organizational culture is of the utmost importance to achieve a competitive advantage. Each organization develops its own, unique and non-transferable culture that differentiates it from its competitors. The purpose of this research is to diagnose the dominant culture and the desired culture of a commercialization company of finishes and materials for the construction of the city of Mazatlán Sinaloa Mexico. The survey technique was used to collect the information. The measurement instrument used is the one that contemplates the Competency Values Framework (MVC) and the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), it was applied in March 2021 to 40 workers representing the total workforce of the organization. It is concluded that the dominant culture was that of the market and the desired culture was that of the clan.
