| Resumo: | This article presents a brief history of the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark of the Covenant is a remarkable institution of the Israel’s people. The Lord had chosen a people, made a covenant with them. The Law that rested upon the Covenant between the Lord and Israel had been given by God to Moses, who deposited it into the Ark, according to standards established by the Lord himself.
