| Resumo: | This article develops the argument that the strike of teachers of IFE - Federal Universities indicates the beginning of a new period of class struggle in the country although the possibility that the outcome of teachers' strike expands the difficulties if the plan government career be approved. The historical period presented by the paper considers the oil workers strike and the reform of state government FHC in 1995 as a reference for analyzing the meaning of the strike motion that reached at the end of August this year more than one hundred days' duration. It is based on the concept that the formation of class consciousness, the organization and the struggle of the workers are directly linked to the viability of an emancipatory project that defines the direction of scientific and education in general. |
