Descripción
Sumario:This master dissertation proposes to investigate, from an analytical-theorical perspective, the reflexivity in the movies made by the Iranian artist Abbas Kiarostami; our main focus is on the movies that constitute the so-called “Koker's trilogy” – Where Is the Friend's House? (1987), And Life Goes On (1992), also known as Life and Nothing More, and Through the Olive Trees (1994). We seek to shed light on how this director, through the filmaking itself, creates a provoking restlessness that shapes a thought capable of enriching discussions about the language of film, considering its potential and its limits.
