| Sumario: | This article intends to delimitate the historical and conceptual field of community psychology, confronting the two main tendencies in Social Psychology in Latin America. It emphasizes the importance of social, historical and ideological issues at the early stages of the development of the psychic. Using the basic notions from the marxist theory and focusing mainly on Leontiev's activity theory. The author discusses community psychology from its, theoretical and pratical approaches in order to specify its subject, methods and goals. It tries to differentiate this area of study from what is called "Psychology in Community", "Social Clinic" or "Social Technology" . |
