| Sumario: | Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic brought great challenges to cultural institutions. In the case of museums, one of the main ones was the need to rethink activities and structures in order to offer the public actions even with "closed doors". This article presents a reflection on the possibilities of interaction that the virtual universe presents to museological institutions. Starting from primordial concepts, such as the virtual museum as a space for cultural mediation on the web, the authors analyze the performance of the Museu da Pessoa in the pre-pandemic period and during the same period, with the campaign Diário do Futuro. |
