| Sumario: | A dialogue for the digital era: world perspectives) Absfract The article calls the reader's attention to the transformations that are in course in the contemporaneous society, most especially due to interaction with the new technologies. The transformations that are taking place already result in changes in professions and in the profile of the professionals in the communications area as the integration between the media dynamizes the processes that come from this. The author alço differentiates the virtual community and virtual society concepts, highlighting the latter as the one that is charactenzed by the social uses of the Internet and of the communication networks, while the virtual communities are closed and self-sufficient networks. In this regard, it emphasizes the importante of understanding technological mediation and the mediation of the experience of reflection on the perspectives that open for Communication Sciences. |
