| Sumario: | This article aims to highlight aspects of an ethnographic immersion experience with indigenous people of the Warao ethnic group who live in the Prosperidade Community, in the Outeiro district of Belém do Pará. The main aim was to understand the importance of their ludic practices as an affirmation of their culture, in the school environment and in the community. By identifying the various concepts and meanings present in the ludic culture of these people, especially through traditional Warao games, the study showed that these practices are important for knowledge, appreciation, transmission of culture and preservation of customs and traditions that are part of the identity of the Warao indigenous people. |
