Descripción
Sumario:This articles analyzes reason in Augustine’s thought with a view to demarcating his conception of philosophy and rationality. As for this author reason is inextricably associated with will/love, we claim that it can be understood as an affectionate reason. Even though he himself does not use this term, we present evidence that it manages to capture the meaning of a recurring, key idea in his works: intellection requires will/love.
